Housing and homelessness

Housing support for the southeast region

At risk of or experiencing homelessness?

We help people in the southeast region at risk of family violence and homelessness by offering personalised support and places to stay.

Our services aim to help secure and maintain housing for families, individuals, couples, and youth. If you are facing homelessness, wayss can assist by providing advice, linking you to available housing options and relevant services, aiding with social housing and rental applications, and guiding you to programs offering bond loans and essential support.

The first step: Initial assessment and planning

When you first reach out to wayss, you’ll undergo the Initial Assessment and Planning (IA&P) process. This marks the starting point for receiving housing information and support if you’re facing homelessness or at risk.

The dedicated wayss IA&P team delivers information, advice, advocacy, and referrals tailored to the unique housing requirements of those seeking help.

You can visit the wayss office in Dandenong from Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm for support with homelessness. You can also contact us at 03 9791 6111 or email contact@wayss.org.au.
