If you are at risk or experiencing family violence you need to act either contact 000 police, Orange Door
or Safe Steps.

Orange Door and Safe steps will provide you a referral to wayss or a similar organisation.

Our family violence services provide a comprehensive range of supports aimed at giving individuals and families affected by violence a safe and welcoming place to begin their healing.

We offer refuge and emergency accommodation for those in immediate danger, as well as the things you may need to feel comfortable away from an abusive environment. You’ll be seen and listened to by qualified social workers offering empathy, understanding and relevant advice.

Managing your case is at the centre of what we do. Our social workers work closely with you (and your family) to develop a personalised plan for your safety and well-being. This may include access to legal assistance, counselling services, financial support, and referrals to other community services.

Our service helps give you the ability to move forward and independence, we encourage clients to regain control over their lives and make informed decisions about their future. Through a combination of practical assistance, emotional support, and standing up for you, the program strives to break the cycle of violence and help survivors rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience.
