Strategic plan

wayss is dedicated to making a lasting impact through our strategic focus.

We’ve identified five future-focused strategic pillars to guide our long term direction. We have set clear objectives that outline our path forward and measure our success, underpinned by our values.

Explore our strategic roadmap and see how we’re working towards a better tomorrow to deliver on our purpose and meet our vision.

Vision

People have a safe home and freedom from discrimination and violence.

Purpose

Provide housing and support options for the people in our community experiencing family violence, housing insecurity and homelessness.

Values

Compassionate, inquisitive and non-judgemental in the way we work.

Courageous and not afraid to speak up when it matters.

Thoughtful and intentional in what we want to achieve.

Good quality housing options and more of them:

There is a chronic undersupply of suitable accommodation for those escaping homelessness and family violence in the southeast region. Our priority is to obtain more housing and improve current housing to better meet the needs of our clients.

Wrap around supports tailored to individuals:

Accommodation is not enough. We will support clients towards employment, education and training to sustain a positive trajectory. Our focus is to increase support options and ensure our services have a tangible and measurable positive impact.

A strong voice for a better future:

We listen to the people we support and ensure they are heard.
This listening will inform our work to drive positive systemic change.

Support and invest in our people:

We are an employer of choice who attracts, retains and develops great staff.
Our aim is to employ staff that align with our values and ensure they have the development pathways to succeed.

A sustainable, innovative and resilient organisation:

We have processes, systems and opportunities to grow and are committed to reinvestment in our services and workforce.

Who we support

Individuals and families from all backgrounds across Melbourne’s southeast region and beyond.

We work with people based on their expressed needs and respect their choices.

We strive to ensure safe and equitable access to resources and support.
