Donate to Wayss

Help end Family Violence and Homelessness – your donation will support people to find independence, hope, and a way out of their situation.

Making a difference together

Your donation to wayss directly aids individuals experiencing family violence or homelessness, or who are at risk. With your help, we provide personalised support, offer places to stay, and address the underlying causes of disadvantage that individuals face daily.

The southeast region needs your support. It is one of Victoria’s hardest hit areas by the housing crisis and statistics of family violence. The community here is culturally diverse, and the challenges are significant.

Your donation can transform lives. Donate today and help us provide the support and resources needed to end homelessness and family violence in our community.

Jenaya’s Story

Meet Jenaya, a testament to the difference your support can make.

Jenaya was born in Adelaide, a member of the Nurungaa and Kaurna mobs. During her childhood, she faced challenging circumstances as her parents struggled with addiction. Consequently, she was placed into the foster care system. After attending school in Alice Springs and then moving to Melbourne to be with her mother, she faced further challenges when her mother experienced a relapse.

Jenaya was referred by Orange Door to wayss’ Emergency Youth Accommodation. Here, she received support to increase her life skills, build her confidence, and move towards living independently.
